My Advice
Okay so its 2am and surprisingly you're wide awake, bored out of your brains and wondering what to do.
Heres some advice from experience!
First of all, What not to do?
Well the straight out worst thing you can do is to contemplate life as it will cause you to stress and seriously affect your ability to sleep. Thoughts can be exaggerated at this time of night and can lead you to making wrong desicions.
Okay now what to do?
- Right you're bored and you want to sleep, how about reading a short book to take your mind off things and help you to relax.
- Why not takie out your headphones and listen to some music quietly, relaxing music is strongly reccomended as it relieves stress and helps you to become calmer. (note: heavy metal music probably not a good choice at this time of night.)
- Search up tv shows from childhood that may spark a few memories or even re-runs of shows you may have watched a few years ago. Youtube is a great tool for finding some old shows to watch.
- Take a stroll to the bathroom maybe wash your face, evn take a walk down stairs and pour yourself a glass of water.
- Look out your bedroom window for a few minutes and become at one with the stars and moon above you. Look out for planes also.
